The 57th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was marked throughout the day of May 04 by statements from the various delegations.

Burkina Faso’s statement was made by HEM Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad.

He began by noting that, since the last OIC summit, the situation in Burkina Faso and the other two countries of the Alliance of Sahel States has been characterized by the scourge of terrorism.
